After the aliens landed, everybody thought it was pretty neat. But after a while, it soon became clear that there was something wrong...very wrong. They were a pain in the neck! They acted like the Earth was a giant playground and they trampled over everything!
Here's where you come in. After days of aliens raiding your refrigerator, overfilling your bathtub and trashing your house playing twister, you snap and start shooting at them with your pea shooter. And it worked - they split! Now armed with your pea shooter and a mission to rid the world of these pesty aliens you are determined to chase them off the face of the Earth!
How To Play:
In the main screen choose a difficulty level from the pop up menu and click in "Begin New Game" and you will be taken to a level begin screen which will tell you how many aliens you have to hit during that level and how long you have to do it. Then you will be taken to the area with the aliens - once you start seeing aliens jumping out from behind trees, rocks etc. start shooting! Use the mouse to aim your crosshairs on the aliens and click to shoot. At the bottom of the screen you will see a box that will increase in number every time you hit an alien, when you reach the required number of aliens hit you have chased the aliens out of that area and clear that level and you go on to the next level. Also at the bottom of the screen is a box that shows you how many seconds you have left in the current round - when you run out of time you start the level over again. But, you will notice that you will have one less pea shooter at the bottom of the screen - when you have none left and you use up the last one you lose the game. If you want to pause the game at any time go to the File menu and choose "Pause Game". Just remember to keep clicking on the aliens as fast as you can!
Oh yeah, on one level you will see some aliens in a spaceship that says "50 Points", you don't really get 50 points when you shoot them (I told you these aliens are annoying!)

Invasion of the Goofy Aliens should run on any grayscale or 265 color mac with 5 megs of ram running version 6.04 or later.
